Resrictions and Guidelines
Coding Hackathon:
- Code must be written during the hackathon period.
- Use of third-party libraries or frameworks is allowed but must be appropriately cited.
- Pre-existing projects, plagiarized content, or use of automated code generation tools (e.g., AI models) is strictly prohibited.
- Submissions must include proper documentation for ease of understanding and review.
Non-Coding Hackathon:
- All ideas and presentations must be original and created during the hackathon.
Additional Details
- Eligibility: Open to individuals aged 12-18 years old.
- Teams: Participants can register individually or in teams of up to 4 members.
- Language: All submissions and presentations must be in English.
- Fees: Participation is free of charge.
- Grade Levels: Open to middle school and high school students within the eligible age range.
- Recording: All sessions will be recorded and published on the OLC YouTube channel and Devpost.
- Cross Submissions: Cross-submissions are permitted, provided the project submitted to this hackathon fits the theme and was developed during the hackathon timeframe. You may submit this project to other hackathons depending on their policies.
